Carol Rasowsky

Carol Rasowsky is an associate professor and chairperson of the Department of Teacher Education at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. She holds a doctorate in educational psychology, and has worked in the field of education for over 30 years as a special education teacher, early intervention program administrator, learning coach, and teacher educator. Carol consults with administrators and teachers in schools and early education programs, and has conducted many regional and national presentations for education professionals, including workshops on teacher candidate assessment, quality indicators in pre-kindergarten programs, and creative uses of technology in teacher preparation. Her primary research interests include quality issues in early care and education, professional development of early childhood educators, school readiness, and collaboration in inclusive early childhood settings.
